My Story

I’m Despina - you can call me Despi, a design generalist with experience in graphic design, illustration, and spatial planning. Currently developing skills in UX/UI design.

At the heart of my approach is a belief that design has the power to improve people’s lives. I’m grateful for the opportunity to contribute to projects that inspire people to take care of themselves, such as the Anxiety and Depression Forum (2025) and Autoimmune Disease Forum (2023).

I have designed award-winning projects across various fields of design, including The Intimate City - Design Competition: Dining in the Urban (2020), organised by TU Delft, and a selected illustration for The Sofianer (2024) that was chosen from over 200 submissions. Another highlight is receiving first place at The City Academy Awards (2017) for my urban planning thesis project.

Outside of work you can catch me browsing through some podcasts, petting my cocker spaniel Ronnie, or finding reasons to buy yet another concert ticket. I value collaboration that leads to meaningful impact, and I’m here to bring your vision to life with empathy, creativity, and a commitment.
